Marc has a wealth of experience in the Travel Industry. Over the past 25 years, he has held a number of managerial and entrepreneurial roles in the airline industry, retail and wholesale travel, the hotel industry and outbound tour operating. His management roles include General Manager Australia for New Caledonia Tourism and Manager NSW/ACT/QLD for the then leading Educational Tour company.
Marc has travelled extensively, worked and lived in several countries and speaks 3 languages. He is a keen believer in the value of providing inspiring international school tours to broaden young adults’ minds.
Curriculum & Education Advisor
Mara is currently teaching at Northern Beaches Secondary College, Manly Campus in NSW.
Mara’s qualifications include a Bachelor degree in French, Italian and German from Sydney University, a certificate for foreign teachers for Cours de Civilisation Française at La Sorbonne in Paris, a Diploma of Education from Sydney College of Advanced Education. She undertook a Japanese non-award sponsored program for teachers at Macquarie University and has been HSC marker and Judge.
Mara started teaching in NSW schools in 1984 and took her first group of students on a study tour in 1996. To date, she has taken 7 study tour groups abroad.
Passionate about teaching languages and creating resilient and successful global citizens, Mara advises The Educational Tour Company on Educational and Curriculum matters.
Jennifer’s first overseas experience was as Year Program exchange student in high school. This was followed by 10 years involvement as a volunteer coordinator at local and State levels. She also returned as an adult to work and study in the same small town of her exchange and has studied Japanese and French.
Jennifer comes to TETC from administering, coordinating and facilitating an Australian-based youth education program for schools. She has a strong belief in the importance of fostering intercultural understanding through Education.
Jennifer is in charge of promoting the range of International Educational tours to schools. She also provides assistance to teachers with parents/students’ information evenings, itinerary planning, deadlines, and support throughout the process.
Senior Tour Specialist
Catherine has lived and worked in several countries and is bilingual. She has held different supervisory, managerial and entrepreneurial roles in and out of the Travel Industry including at Club Mediterranée, French Travel Connections and Tahiti Nui Travel where she was in charge of Groups.
Catherine assists teachers in selecting and tailoring the tour best suited for their requirements, and liaises with them throughout the preparation of the tour until departure.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, Tourism – ESCAET Aix-en-Provence – France
Marketing Diploma – TAFE Queensland – Australia
Isabelle has a substantial experience in the international tourism sector, with proven marketing, administration, management and analysis skills.
She studied in France and worked in Noumea, New Caledonia, Sydney and Brisbane.
Isabelle is in charge of promoting the range of International educational tours to QLD schools. She also provides assistance to teachers with parents/students information evenings, itinerary planning, deadlines, and support throughout the process including departure at the airport.
Isabelle is based in our Brisbane office in Milton.
Director of Planning – Europe
Organisation, analysis, imagination, creation, problem solving and reliability are some of the skills Didier gathered over 30 years of an International career including risk management projects with World Bank, NATO, United Nations, Communication officer for NATO and Army Captain. Didier is bilingual.
Didier is based in Europe and is responsible for planning, and programs quality control.
