  • TETC programs are developed in collaboration with our Curriculum & Education Advisor, a qualified teacher with decades of experience. TETC closely liaises with teachers to tailor make lessons for their students’ level of ability, interests and your relevant topics and outcomes.
  • The itinerary is designed to work well as a Language only or Cross Curricular tour – being an engaging mix of Culture, History, Art, famous and significant Heritage sites, engaging activities across a spectrum of city to country, coastal to inland tempting them to learn more.
  • Offer your students quality Italian language lessons at a long established and recognized local education provider, based on specific Curriculum requirements.  A visit to a local High School and a program delivered by qualified teachers.
  • Offer authentic Cross-curricular programs for Ancient and Modern History, Art, Geography, Latin, Studies of Religions lessons conducted in English relevant to their Key Learning Area and taught by certified teachers.
  • Offer classes in English for 100% non-language student groups
  • Smaller class sizes for individualized attention – students are grouped into 2 diverse levels of ability depending on their language level. For cross-curricular groups, other subjects are taught in English in separate classrooms.
  • Accommodation in a quality hotels within walking distance from school and sites
  • Local operators and accommodation providers are carefully selected by our European representative office. We only use minimum 2 stars hotels for the comfort and safety of your group, unless specifically requested otherwise.


  • You are busy teaching. Send us your risk assessment document and we will complete the tour section for your perusal. We are familiar with our overseas venues, hotels and locations and able to cover more details. This will assist you with all important H&S angles.
  • A school tour is no teacher’s holiday, you are on duty 24×7: Teachers are accommodated in single hotel rooms, unless specifically requested otherwise.
  • All dinners are included – looking for a restaurant able to accommodate a group is NOT something you want to experience with a group of hungry teenagers at the end of a long and exciting day.

Your Itinerary:

Assemble at Airport for your flight – be there early so you can all check-in together! Depart Australia for Milan

Option: buy your flights through TETC

When you arrive in Milan you will be met at the airport by your TETC Representative. Board your private coach and transfer to the hotel. Receive a 1-day metro pass.

Arrive at hotel and check in. Take the metro for a guided tour of Il Duomo (admission included). An exceptionally large and elaborate Gothic cathedral on the main square of Milan, the Duomo di Milano is one of the most famous buildings in Europe. It is the largest Gothic cathedral and the second largest Catholic cathedral in the world. After your visit, you can take the metro back to your hotel.

Breakfast at your accommodation and check out to join your coach heading to Venice. On the way, you will stop in Verona and see the “old castle”, before joining your coach again for Venice. You will then travel to Venice Mestre where you catch the Tronchetto to the island city of Venice.

Today you will visit St Mark’s Basilica and the Ducal Palace displaying the finery and grandeur of this historical city. Walk the pathways of this unique city, count the number of small bridges you cross, look for the gondoliers, and see the masks.

Continue your journey to Ravenna, a city of converging history between Romans, Ostrogoths and the Byzantine Empire. Enjoy a walking tour and take time to examine the colourful and spectacular mosaics, the influence of key figures of history and the World Heritage listed sites including the Neonian Baptistry and Tomb of Dante Alighieri, Mausoleum of Theodoric and Basilica of San Vitale.

From Ravenna you will travel to Florence where you will jump into the Renaissance with walking tour including San Miniato al Monte Church, Piazzale Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Vecchio, the Town Hall of Florence.

After breakfast, checkout and leave your luggage in storage, then you will be taken to visit the Galleria Della’Academia where visitors marvel at the statues of Michelangelo – though by now you will be familiar with the statue of David (of the David & Goliath biblical story). The Galleria houses the extensive collections amassed and patronised by the Medici family who bequeathed this legacy to the city. After the museum, have some lunch, buy a gelato and explore this beautiful city until you meet your coach to journey to Rome.

After breakfast, catch the metro to Vatican City. Meet your local guide at the entrance of Vatican Museums for a guided tour of the Vatican Museums. Grab lunch then take the metro to begin your walking tour of the ancient streets of Rome including a visit to the Pantheon.

After breakfast, check-out and leave your luggage in storage. Catch the metro to begin this morning’s walk through the centre of Ancient Rome’s worship, politics and public life, the Roman Forum, including the arena we all know as the Colosseum. In the afternoon return to your hotel to board your coach – next stop, Sorrento!

After your classes in the morning, your teachers will escort you for a visit of the a local olive factory where you can learn about the importance of this fruit, it’s history and cultivation and how it came to be known as “Liquid Gold”.

Today you travel by coach to Naples for a full day excursion in this city. The excursion includes your Outdoor Classroom with teachers for a walking tour including the Naples Archaeological Museum which holds many of the finds from Pompeii. You will have a break so you can buy lunch. Return to Sorrento by coach in the afternoon.
